Billing Process

To support flexible access while maintaining transparency, Valion Health requires payment of the invoice at least two business days before your appointment with the psychologist.

  • Supporting Medicare Claims

Appointment cancellations and refunds

  • Appointment can be refunded if cancelled 48+ hours before your appointment
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice or failure to attend without notice will incur a $189 cancellation fee, which is not claimable via Medicare.
  • This fee applies to all appointments.

Your Acknowledgement

By enrolling, you confirm the following:

  • You understand the session cost and any rebates
  • You agree to the payment terms and refund policy
  • You acknowledge that the appointment is not covered by your insurance company (unless you have a health insurance policy that allows you to claim through your private health insurance Extras cover)
  • You give informed consent to participate
