At Valion Health, we believe in clear, upfront communication about the cost of care. This page outlines the financial details of our self-funded Cancer Support Program, including two care pathway options and applicable Medicare rebates.
About the Program
Our Cancer Support Program provides personalised, nurse and allied health supported virtual care for individuals living with or recovering from cancer. These services can include:
- Oncology nursing assessments and education
- Exercise Physiology sessions
- Dietitian sessions
- Psychology sessions
- Coordination with your GP and/or oncology team
Pathway 1 – 10+ Hour Bundle ($1,800)
As an example, the below program bundle attracts the following fees:

Medicare Rebates
You may be eligible for the following rebates:
- Up to 5 sessions with an allied health provider under a Chronic Conditions Management (CCM) Plan
- Up to 10 psychology sessions per year under a Mental Health Care Plan

Billing Process
To support flexible access while maintaining transparency, Valion Health uses a two-step billing process:
- Initial Assessment Fee: A $120 upfront payment is required to confirm your first appointment. This covers your comprehensive nurse assessment and helps us begin care planning and coordination.
- Payment options include Stripe (Credit Card/ Debit Card) and bank transfer. Any additional card fees are your responsibility to pay.
- Program Fee: Once your care plan and service pathway are confirmed with you, we will invoice you for the remaining program fee to proceed. Payment is required prior to starting your program.
- For the 6+ Hour Program, this means a follow-up payment of $1,080
- For the 10+ Hour Program, the follow-up payment is $1,680
- For the 6+ Hour Program, this means a follow-up payment of $1,080
- Supporting Medicare Claims

- We will send you an invoice for your sessions that can be claimed through Medicare
- It is your responsibility to manage your calendar year limits
Program/ Pathway Cancellation and Refunds
- Full program can be refunded if cancelled 48+ hours before your start date
- Pro-rata program refund if discontinued / you elect to opt out
Cancellation Policy for Individual Sessions
We understand that unexpected changes can occur. To ensure we can best serve all participants and allocate our clinicians’ time effectively, the following cancellation policy applies to all individual sessions:
- A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice or failure to attend without notice will incur a $120 cancellation fee, which is not claimable via Medicare.
- This fee applies to all sessions, including those with nurses, and your allied health team
Goods and Services Tax (GST)
Please note that Exercise Physiology services attract GST at 10%. This will be added onto all session charges for these services.
Your Acknowledgement
By enrolling, you confirm the following:
- You understand the total program cost and any rebates
- You agree to the payment terms and refund policy
- You acknowledge the program is not covered by private health insurance
- You give informed consent to participate
