Our virtual care leadership team

Michael Marthick

GENERAL MANAGER

Passionate about the role digital technology has in the future of healthcare, Michael founded Valion Health to provide high quality health support wherever somebody may be. He is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and was awarded a PhD through the USyd.

Amanda Troung

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Amanda is a Chartered Accountant with extensive finance, project management and commercial experience in healthcare. She is passionate about working with organisations to achieve the Quadruple Aim. She leads the day to day operations across the Valion team.

Karen Eaton

CLINICAL AND QUALITY MANAGER

With over 35 years experience as a nurse, Karen has key expertise in oncology and supportive care services. She has a Masters Degree in Public Health, has previously been a content author for eviQ and has key expertise within quality and accreditation standards.

Danielle Parent

MENTAL HEALTH LEAD

Danielle is a registered nurse with extensive international experience. Originally starting with the team as our first ever Care Coordinator, she now leads our mental health and chronic care business units.

Sarah Jukes

PROVIDER MANAGER

Sarah is an experienced Dietitian and our Provider Lead. In this role Sarah is responsible for providing evidence based and client centred dietetic care to clients of Valion Health as well as leading the multidisciplinary provider team.

Jane Stivala

CANCER NURSE LEAD

Jane is a Registered Nurse, with extensive experience within cancer care. She has worked for large comprehensive cancer centres within Australia and in the UK, and has particular interest in service design, quality improvement and enabling access to care.

ADVISOR

A specialist health and wellbeing management professional, systems agitator and innovator. Anita’s passion is to deliver better value for consumers, drive innovation, promote collaboration, build ecosystems and reduce cost and complexity.

Tim Blanche

ADVISOR

With more than 37 years’ business experience in healthcare, Tim has worked across a multitude of organisation’s including pathology, medical imaging, medical centres and public and private hospitals. His most recent experience was as CEO of Laverty Pathology (NSW).

Julie Sanders

ADVISOR

Julie is an experienced commercial healthcare leader who delights in facilitating the pathway of new services and treatments to people with unmet needs. Having had two life-threatening cancers, she is passionate about transforming cancer survivorship care for patients and carers.
